Arco Chair

The Arco Chair is a reprieve for hardworking people from their daily routines. When immersed in this chair one will feel a connection to Mexican culture through the natural materials used to craft this experience. The unique form gives a new meaning to personal space by creating a dwelling that encourages creativity and contemplation. Throughout the day, any person can enjoy the Arco chair by soaring through their thoughts and ideas at the time of their choice.

Butterfly Feeder

Humans’ interaction with butterflies is beneficial to our health because it allows us to appreciate the beauty of nature and in some way it relaxes us. However, since butterflies don’t have many places to feed around the city, they have become endangered and we rarely see them anymore. By designing a product for people’s gardens, specifically adults or elders, which will attract butterflies and provide them with food, we will more frequently see this beautiful creature in the city and help them survive.

Curve Chair

Having the perfect dinner table chair is a huge factor for any home. Dinner is an important moment of the day when all family members unite to not only eat, but to also spend time with one another and hear about each others’ day. Dinner table chairs determine the duration of this moment and they contribute to the quality, by making it more or less enjoyable based on the chair users are sitting on. When creating the Curve Chair out of plywood, I was able to manipulate the shape and make the chair look as a very soft structure, even though it is made out of a very hard material. The material and design aesthetic make the chair seem cozy and beautiful because of its uniqueness in shape and simple organic design. The back of the chair is made to stand out when looking at it tucked inside a dinner table because of its distinct design from the back.
